Are you an experienced leader with a passion for delivering successful infrastructure projects? Lower 48 Energy is seeking a Project Manager to join our team and lead our UK-wide construction delivery programme. As one of our Project Managers, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our infrastructure projects from planning to handover, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Lower 48 Energy is a visionary new energy player that is committed to revolutionizing the UK's renewable infrastructure through the development of Battery Energy Storage Assets (BESS). Our mission is to contribute to the essential renovation of the UK's renewable infrastructure and support the transition to clean energy.

We have a highly skilled team of professionals with real ambition and financial backing, who are passionate about developing a robust, trusted and integrated international BESS portfolio and grid connections to accelerate the decentralised creation and use of renewable electricity. Our vision is to develop and own a portfolio of 250MW of Battery Storage in the UK in the next 2-3 years, with a further expansion in the next 5-7 years delivering a Battery Storage capacity of 1GW.

Responsibilities:

• Management of multi disciplinary teams.
• Management of statutory consents.
• Develop and agree phasing and programmes for project delivery.
• Be responsible for administration of projects.
• Setting up and delivery of best practice PM systems and controls.
• Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner, forming a strong working relationship with all stakeholders in true partnership.
• Assist in providing best practice and continuous improvement within delivery teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven Project Management background aligned to infrastructure developments. Experience in an Energy related field and particularly with Battery Energy Storage Assets (BESS) is considered advantageous.
• APM or ICE Qualified.
• High level of knowledge and proven experience of working with NEC form of contract.
• Knowledge of fundamental PM systems and procedures in the construction industry.
• In depth knowledge of different construction processes.
• A forward-thinking approach to the management of stakeholders and projects.
• Ability to deliver quality outcomes under time pressures.
• Recognised Degree in a related discipline.
• Proven Project Management background within the infrastructure sector.
• APM or MRICS qualified.
