Dams of Craigie Second Community Event Feedback
We invite you to attend a follow up public exhibition for a Proposed Development of a 200MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), 20MW Solar Array, Substation and Associated Infrastructure and Landscaping, on Land at Dams of Craigie, Kingseat Aberdeenshire.
Date: Tuesday 19th November 2024.
Time: 3pm to 7pm.
Venue: The Axis Centre, 9 School Road, Newmachar, Aberdeenshire AB21 0WD.
Lower 48 Energy BESS Ltd is currently progressing a proposal for a BESS development at the site with the intention to submit a Section 36 Application under the terms of the Electricity Act 1989 at a later date. We aim to provide feedback at this exhibition to reflect previously received comments and views from our event held in April 2024, and to present our updated proposals. We will accept any further comments until 3rd December 2024. All comments will be recorded and addressed within our consent application submission. Formal representations, directed to the Energy Consents Unit can be made when a subsequent application is lodged.
