Lower 48 Energy has secured exclusivity rights to develop the Barton BESS

We are delighted to announce the commencement of works on site at our battery energy storage project near Preston, Lancashire.

The development will see the connection of 45MW of battery storage to the grid, enough capacity to power 22,750 homes.

The L48 team was on the ground last week for a site inspection and kick-off meeting with the design team.
