Castleton Commodities International LLC (CCI) announced today that a subsidiary has acquired a majority stake in Lower 48 Energy BESS Ltd. (L48 Energy), a company that originates, builds, owns and operates large-scale energy storage systems.

On Tuesday, 19th November, we hosted our second and final community engagement event for the Dams of Craigie projects at the Axis Centre, Newmachar.

On Monday 18th November 2024 we held our second and final community event in Cuminestown Village Hall amongst the snow showers.

Following our initial community engagement meeting on 6th June, Lower 48 Energy, in collaboration with our Scottish planning partners Blackhall and Powis, hosted a follow-up drop-in meeting on 7th October at the Ballantrae Community Centre in Girvan, Scotland.

Energy storage solution provider Trina Storage has signed an agreement with Lower 48 Energy to deliver a 98MWh BESS project at a two-acre site in Preston in the UK.

We are hosting our second and final public community meeting for our Glenapp project on 7th October 2024.

On Tuesday, June 25th, Lower 48 Energy, in collaboration with our Scottish planning partners Blackhall and Powis, hosted a seven-hour open house Public Community Meeting at Cuminestown Village Hall, Aberdeenshire.
